Calendula

Calendula also know as pot marigilds are a cheerful garden flower and cut flower.

Quick to flower taking about 60 days from germination to flower.

Calendula excretes a resin when cut which is not water soluable but removed from hands and tools by alcohol. Gloves can be worn when harvesting. 

Harvest flowers when the flower has started to open cutting deep down to promote bush growth on the plant.
